A non‐linear adaptive excitation control scheme for feedback linearized synchronous generations in multimachine power systems

A new adaptive scheme is proposed in this paper to design excitation controllers for feedback linearized models of synchronous generators multimachine power systems order ensure the stability during large disturbances. The uses speed deviations generators, readily available measured physical properties systems, make all within a network as partially well provide more damping. An then used estimate unknown parameters which appear partial linearizing avoid parameter sensitivities existing linearization techniques. overall ensured through control and adaptation laws. Lyapunov theory theoretically analyse with scheme. Simulation studies are presented evaluate performance two different test by operating conditions including short-circuit faults on key locations along variations duration. Furthermore, comparative results highlight superiority over an controllers.
